Helping Students Cultivate a Desire for Learning

COM’s mission is to provide an adaptable, scalable and universally applicable solution for the educational community in an effort to reduce the growing disparity in learning among our educational institutions and to provide a framework for educational communities to be able to provide personalized learning opportunities for each student.

COM is providing a real-time decision making platform that is based on data driven analysis of the personal interests and preferences of the students and educators that participate within a defined educational community.

By being able to identify and align available human capital located throughout a relevant educational community, students can be connected to learning environments that are uniquely tailored to their interests and abilities and properly screened to assure that they are enrolled in courses and/or activities with educators that share relevant backgrounds and interests and with pedagogy and course formats that align with the student’s style of learning thereby maximizing engagement.

In the end, schools can allow students to optimize their education and learning experience through a menu of course offerings that align with the individual interests and preferences of both students and teachers, ultimately morphing into a “university style” course offerings that is enhanced from the students’ ability to access all relevant resources within each educational community.

It is COM’s goal that each student have the opportunity to discover their interests and to pursue that interest with passion in a productive and engaging format.  This cannot happen unless there are the appropriate resources and opportunities available to the student and an underlying decision making platform that can efficiently and objectively analyze and process the enormous amount of underlying information.

COM’s approach differs from “makeshift and stovetop” educational initiatives currently offered that merely reshuffle existing resources and only serve to increase disparities in learning by creating new expectations that students and teachers must quickly react and adapt to.

The COM solution is based on providing a “positive sum” outcome for an entire educational community.
